American vs. Decimal Odds
American and decimal odds are two different ways to show the exact same underlying price. American odds use a plus or minus number (+150, -110). Decimal odds show the total payout per $1 staked, stake included (2.50, 1.91).
In practice
+150 American = 2.50 decimal — bet $1, get back $2.50 total if you win (your $1 stake plus $1.50 profit). -110 American = 1.91 decimal.
Why it matters here
Same price, different costume. This site uses American odds throughout, since that's the standard for the US books tracked here — but the underlying math (fair lines, EV, CLV) works identically no matter which format a book shows it in.
